As the Chagres River runs throughout the park you can also take the opportunity to do some whitewater tubing! Bring an extra change of clothes, sun block, a camera and some insect repellent.

San Blas is famous for one of its arts and crafts, the mola. Kuna women make rainbow colored fabrics, emblazoned with fish, birds, jungle animals and geometric designs that would impress Picasso himself. The men still fish from canoes as they did before Columbus came. They still run up to the corner coconut palm trees for something fresh and cool to drink each morning, just as they have for untold centuries
The islands of the San Blas Archipelago are strung out along the Caribbean coast of Panama from the Golfo de San Blas nearly all the way to the Colombian border. San Blas is a series of 378 islands of which only 49 are inhabited by the fiercely independent Kuna Indians. Although only a 20-minute plane ride away from Panama City, a trip to the San Blas islands will transport you 20 centuries into the past. The Kuna Indians, who run all the islands as an autonomous province, with minimal interference from the national government have maintained their own economic system, language, customs and culture, with distinctive dress, legends, music and dance and thus have avoided traditional tourism development.
Package Description :
Day 1: Arriving in Panama, at the International Airport by our staff and transfer to Hotel at the city.
Day 2: After breakfast departure to San Blas at the Kuna Yala region, On route we will see a great variety of birds, mammals and an abundance of vegetation. Upon arriving at the island , we will board a boat, during our tour we will see the native culture (Kuna) and enjoy the crystal clear Waters of the Caribbean Panama. Accommodation in the island.
Day 3: San Blas - Tour of the Emberá Community. Transfer to the Chagres National Park, where we expect a boat that will take us through the Chagres River to the Embera indigenous community in which they will welcome us and share their dances, music, customs and traditions ,also an excellent opportunity to buy crafts directly from the local producer. We will have the opportunity to tour caves, ecological trails, waterfalls and enjoy a typical meal. Return to the San Blas hotel.
Day 4: Return to Panama City, accommodation and in the afternoon visit the most relevant sites of Panama City and the Miraflores Locks, the Colonial City, Calzada de Amador, Market Crafts Accommodation in Panama City.
